The Breakthrough Every Racer Deserves: Logitech G Unveils RS50 Direct Drive Wheelbase and RS Pedals

At Logitech G PLAY 2025, Logitech G — a brand of Logitech and leading innovator of gaming technologies and gear — announced its latest breakthrough in sim racing hardware: the RS50 Direct Drive Wheelbase with TRUEFORCE and RS Pedals.

Designed to deliver unparalleled realism, control, and customisation, the RS50 and RS Pedals mark a new era in Logitech G’s modular Racing Series lineup, built to redefine what’s possible for racers of all skill levels.

RS50 isn’t just hardware. It’s the beating heart of your SIM setup

Richard Neville, Senior Global Product Manager Simulation at Logitech G

Whether you’re taking the Parabolica at Monza at top speed, or drifting in a rally stage, the level of torque, coupled with TRUEFORCE, ensures you feel every detail in traction and every bump in the road. Combine that with the unrivalled control of the RS Pedals, and it transforms every race into an intense, emotional ride."

Feel Every Detail: Direct Drive Power Meets TRUEFORCE Immersion

At the core of the RS50 Wheelbase is a direct drive motor delivering up to 8Nm of peak torque — the optimal level defined by expert drivers during Logitech G’s performance research.

This power is paired with TRUEFORCE technology, which processes real-time game data such as road textures, engine vibrations and tyre slip at up to 4,000 updates per second. This delivers hyper-real feedback, from the tension of a high-speed turn to the grip of a worn-out tyre.

The RS50 also features a durable slip ring design offering up to 2700 degrees of rotation, accurately replicating real-world steering dynamics — whether you’re racing GT3s or long-haul trucking across continents.

RS Pedals: Precision That Performs

• 75kg Load Cell Brake Pedal – Measures pressure (not travel) for real-world braking precision

• Hall Effect Accelerator – Contactless, durable design for smooth and accurate throttle control

• Customisable Brake Feel – Fine-tune pedal movement/resistance with damper and spacer combinations, and adjust settings via G HUB, OLED screen (PRO/RS50), or Racing Adapter dial (G29/G920/G923)

• Adjustable Pedal Length & Stability – Extenders improve stability on desks or rigs; carpet grippers prevent slipping

• Clutch Module (Optional) – Add-on for manual shifting, sold separately

Our muscles respond more precisely to pressure than to movement,” said Suellio Almeida, Racing Driver. “The RS Pedals deliver the kind of real-world braking modulation I expect from pro setups, and they bring that precision right to my home.”

Built to Grow With You

A standout feature of the Racing Series is its modularity. Whether you’re starting fresh or building on existing G-Series gear, the RS50 and RS Pedals scale with your needs.

Starting Fresh? The RS50 System includes the RS50 Wheelbase, RS Round Wheel, RS Wheel Hub and RS Table Clamp. Just add the RS Pedals and you’re ready to race.

Upgrading Gear? The Racing Adapter enables seamless compatibility with Logitech G’s G-Series pedals (G25, G27, G29, G920, G923) and the Driving Force Shifter. Transition at your own pace, one component at a time.

Durable. Repairable. Sustainable.

Engineered to withstand millions of cycles, the RS50 embraces right-to-repair principles, with easily replaceable components like the slip ring to maximise lifespan and minimise downtime.

The RS50 is also built with low-carbon aluminium and 74% post-consumer recycled plastic (excluding wiring and packaging), ensuring top-tier performance with a lower environmental footprint.
